I know we all like to fantasize about the person we fall in love with to actually change their "quirks". The truth is that woman or man, what you see is what you get--bottom line, no exceptions whatsoever. Worse thing about it is that everything you invest into a relationship is not something you can get your money back with a valid receipt dated within 30 days. We don't get anything back if we make a wrong choice. All sales final (esp. ASIS).
Many of us have made poor decisions in our lives. Decisions, that even after many years you still can’t make anything of them, much less anything of yourself. Our tendency to strive for individualism strongly influences us and even blinds us from reasoning thus leading to poor decisions. It has happened to me that at the very moment I make a poor decision that will affect my life, I feel as if I am seeing myself in a movie. The movie is on play and suddenly I feel there is nothing I can do to change the past or change what will happen in the future. I feel I no longer have control of my life and the blame game begins. Some of us blame ourselves, our parents, lovers, family, friends, etc. However, how we feel about our lives has nothing to do with blame; I think it has to do with how we chose to address our issues. Do we let the stubbornness of individualism, or on the other hand, do we let our desire to satisfy others motivate our decision-making?

I have heard people say that to live life to its fullest you should try to live each day as if it were your last. If I did that I would wake up early in the morning to pray and enjoy the sunrise, and stay up late after everyone sleeps to enjoy the sounds of the night and watch the starlit sky. My friends and family most certainly will fill the rest of my day with surprises!

I found out that one of my friends gets oddly grossed out by the most common things. Long story short, Trenda was putting lotion on her feet and before I knew it Lena turned around and started to gag and laugh at the same time. Trenda and I started laughing so hard at the situation that I almost started to gag and Trenda almost... nevermind. What an end to a great lunch at Hunan Chef. The best General Tso's chicken ever!!! No, Trenda did not rub lotion on her feet at the restaurant. But someone in our lunch party did show off the junk in her trunk... you will never know.
